Highly motivated Digital Artist, based in Hamburg / Germany and Kyoto / Japan.
– Photographer from 1998 – 2005 before becoming a Digital Artist.
– Freelancer for TV productions, Commercials and PC Games in Munich and Hamburg
– Senior Artist and Leadanimator on several Games at Bigpoint GmbH from 2010 – end of 2011
– 3D Modeler and Animator on Videogames for Nintendo and Bandai Namco in Kyoto
– Senior Digital Artist on TV- and Feature Films, TV Commercials and Music videos for Toei, Toho, Shochiku, and many others
– Since 2017 freelancing in Hamburg and Japan
I’m highly fluent in German, English and Japanese which is why I also work as translator and interpreter for movie productions, festivals, seminars or intercultural events.
Side projects include
– managing the Japanfilmfest Hamburg (www.jffh.de) for over 20 years, where I’m responsible for overall coordination, translation, handling movie rights, sponsoring and guest coordination,
– creating the Kyoto based Creative Network “Kyoto x Media Guild” which through events and exhibitions brings clients/companies and artists together, organizes workshops and seminars, and represents Kyoto based artists and companies throughout Japan
